Ibrahim Williams Bankole

Ibrahim Bankole (born November 6, 1994) is a  Sierra Leonean  actor and director. He won the MCMB Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2022 for his performance in the movie " Khadija ( hands of our girls. He was nominated as best director in the new skul award for a hit movie matamoi also went on to direct sollywood classic khadija . He started as an actor and movie producer under the legendary pictures salone film company. He rule as a chairperson for the kenema film union for three(3) years. Currently he is the regional coordinator for the Sierra Leone film guild.

Bankole Williams has always enthralled his audience with amazing movies and short skits. I have always been a fan of Bankole Williams ever since I first saw his debut movie Matamoi. Bankole started as stuttering in the film industry and matured as an actor as he did more and more movies. His idea of reading the script first and then selecting the role is what appeals me about him.

Bankole Williams is not just a volatile actor but a director with a vision different than the others. His movies are usually ones with an underlying message rather than having mindless entertainment. Some of his movies which have received wide acclaim from the film industry and beyond are matamoi,Njuyea, Peahunya, The wicked shall perish

His movie ‘Matamoi was a movie with which many could associate themselves as it was made very realistic.
